Phifer SheerWeave fabrics have passed stringent tests for flame resistant fabrics with varieties of light openess: 5%, 10%, 14% Open fabrics.
5% and 10% Open Phifer SheerWeave Sunscreen Fabrics are 35% fiberglass and 65% vinyl in fiberglass.
14% Open Phifer SheerWeave Sunscreen Fabrics are woven with horizontal threads of 31% polyester and 69% vinyl on polyester and with vertical threads of 35% fiberglass and 65% vinyle on fiberglass.
Light colors reflect more heat and have lower shading coefficients when used on the interior. Darker colors reduce glare and brightness while allowing for a better view.
Measuring Instructions Inside Mount : Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places - use the smallest of these two measurements. No deduction.
Outside Mount : Measure the exact width and length of the area to be covered. O the width,allow at least 1 1/2" of an overlap on each side. An overlap of 3" on each side is recommended.
