Table Runners

• Table runners should be from two to three times the same length as the window is wide, for fullness. This pattern should take about two runners for most windows. Windows are usually from 36 inches wide to 54 inches wide.
• You can simply leave the bottom edge since it is finished already or fold it twice and hem. If you leave the edge you can use a trim or rick rack tape for decoration. Be sure to purchase the same amount for the edging as the table runners length plus at least three more inches for folding under on the ends.
• Be sure to select fabric for this project, since there is some sewing, other things like bamboo or shells, etc. can not be sewn or glued effectively.
